About us
The Seasons Chorale began because one South Jordan resident, and music conductor, Marlene Stanley, saw a need. She partnered with South Jordan City, secured a practice location and a performance venue and programmed the first Sounds of the Season Holiday concert.
Now known as Seasons Chorale, it has grown in strength into a 150 voice performing group, which includes a full orchestra, headed up by Conductor, Barbara Rex. Their music is a mix of joyful, fun, and sacred, and has delighted audiences for 20 years. Seasons Chorale is now under the administration of the non-profit organization of SoJo Choral Arts Choral Arts, and Executive Director, McKell Scanlan. Ms Stanley retired in 2023 and passed the baton to Conductor, Ben Chapman, who is locally known for his work with the "Lamb of God" production. Seasons Chorale & Orchestra is known for their annual holiday concert series, with performances held at the first Saturday of December at Bingham High School. Their works benefits charitable causes including local family shelters and Make-a-Wish. |
